KPI Hotel Management, part of the Hipoges Group, Enters the Spanish Market with Projects in Valencia and Málaga
KPI Hotel Management Services, a specialized operator in hotel and resort management under a white-label model, and part of the Hipoges Group, has officially announced its entry into the Spanish hospitality market. This expansion follows a strategic alliance with NextGen Sports, a leading developer of large-scale sports complexes in Southern Europe.
The agreement, formalized through a memorandum of understanding (MoU), grants KPI exclusive management rights for all hospitality assets developed by NextGen Sports across Spain, Portugal, Greece, and Italy.
New Hotel Projects in Valencia and Mijas (Málaga)
The first two projects under this alliance will be launched in Spain:
- Valencia: KPI will manage a 450-room hotel complex designed to meet the high demand for accommodations related to the Polytechnic University of Valencia, as well as cruise and leisure tourism.
- Mijas (Málaga): KPI will operate a premium 350-room hotel within a state-of-the-art sports complex, which will feature Spain's largest multi-sport club, including facilities for tennis, padel, pickleball, an international-level equestrian center, and a high-performance and rehabilitation center.
Pedro Garcia e Costa, Managing Partner of KPI Hotel Management Services, stated:
“Southern Europe is redefining how it approaches sports, tourism, and investment. This alliance with NextGen Sports enables us to bring our hotel management expertise to visionary projects that blend sports, innovation, and hospitality to create truly unique destinations.”
Strategic Growth Across Southern Europe
In addition to the projects in Valencia and Málaga, KPI is in advanced negotiations for two new developments in Portugal, expected to be announced in the third or fourth quarter of 2025. These will also be developed in partnership with NextGen Sports.
The agreement marks a significant milestone in KPI Hotel Management's expansion strategy, with the first phase focused on strengthening operations in Portugal and Spain, followed by consolidation in Greece and the start of operations in Italy.
Currently, KPI operates two hotels in Portugal and has two more projects under development—one in Portugal and another in Cape Verde.
