Sierra Blanca Estates to Develop Over 370 Affordable Housing Units in Málaga and Marbella

The developer reinforces its social commitment with three new protected housing (VPO) projects in partnership with local administrations.

In a bold move to improve access to housing on the Costa del Sol, Sierra Blanca Estates has announced the launch of over 370 protected housing units (VPO) across the municipalities of Málaga and Marbella. This initiative forms part of the company’s broader corporate social responsibility strategy, aimed at addressing the rising demand for affordable housing in one of Spain’s most competitive residential markets.

Marbella: VPO Developments in Arroyo Palomeras and Hacienda Cortés

In Marbella, Sierra Blanca Estates has won a public tender issued by the City Council for the construction of 25 VPO units within the Arroyo Palomeras Master Plan area. The project is scheduled for delivery in 2027.

Additionally, the developer has submitted acomprehensive planning proposal for the SUS.RR-1 Hacienda Cortés sector, located on land it owns. The project includes the development of 270 affordable housing units, to be carried out as a private-sector initiative.

Málaga City: Project in Ferrocarril del Puerto

In Málaga, Sierra Blanca Estates is also taking part in the development of the SUNC.LO-1 “Ferrocarril del Puerto” area, included in the city’s General Urban Development Plan (PGOU). This indirect management project proposes the construction of 80 protected homes, as part of a tender organized by the Málaga City Council.
